Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Overview:

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage the organization’s budget, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
    • Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and manage financial risks.
  • Cost Management:
    • Analyze and control costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Financial Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
    • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Provide financial insights and advice to support strategic planning and decision-making.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment:
